Learn all about using the Trim Router, Plunge Router, and Router Table safely in this beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop! Explore core concepts like what each type of router is used for; how to choose the right bit for your project; and how to set up and adjust each tool. This is not a certification class.

Age: 14+ with parent or guardian also taking the class
What you will learn:
- What a Trim Router is used for
- What a Plunge Router is used for
- What the Router Table is used for
- Safe analog router operation
- A lot a bit about bits
- Different kinds of bits
- How to tell if a bit is in good shape
- How to install, adjust, and uninstall bits
What to bring: A notebook or well-charged phone for taking notes.
What to wear: Closed-toe shoes, short sleeves, and work clothes. Long hair must be tied back.
Safety Gear: Eye protection, ear protection, and all the hand sanitizers will be provided. You can also bring your own.
This class requires a minimum of 3 students per session. If the class is canceled, we can offer a refund but otherwise do not refund.
