Set in 1930s India and Europe, Six Days in Bombay is a powerful story of identity, art, and secrets — inspired by the life of the legendary painter Amrita Sher-Gil (often called the “Frida Kahlo of India”). At the center of the novel is Sona, an Anglo-Indian nurse on a journey to uncover the truth about a mysterious death — and about herself.
