Alicia Morgan is originally from Kansas but has called Lubbock home for almost 10 years now. Finding the Blue Light songwriter nights after first moving here, she has found community and friendship in the Lubbock music and songwriter scene. She has competed (and placed 2nd twice) in the Bluelight songwriter contest and recently was invited to take part in the Buddy Holly Songwriter Retreat. Alicia brings vulnerable, exposed lyrics to a blend of sad songs and murder ballads and delivers them in pretty packages. She is currently working a full length album at Amusement Park Studio, featuring songs about childhood trauma, love and loss and overcoming tragedy.
