Lex Hingle, MSW, CYT-200, is a psychotherapist and yoga teacher who enjoys incorporating both the science-informed world of therapy and the more esoteric eastern and yogic philosophies in her workshops. Within the container of a workshop, participants are given an opportunity to dig deeper than an ordinary class.
__
This two hour workshop will allow each participant an opportunity to learn, write and move through Carl Jung's psychological concept of Shadow Work and also, Alchemy. Participants will be guided through a workshop circculum designed to inspire inner reflection, identificaion of what we unconsciously reject or repress, and how to practice integration by acceptance.
__
The guided meditation and restorative yin yoga flows will invite the participants to practice providing the body and mind a chance to slow down. This practice will ask partiticipants to take inventory of their life and to consider how our duality - the good and bad - can provide a rich soil for the evolution of our growth.
__
The night will end with an immerse sound healing by Zarah Brock, MM, Sound Practitioner. Zarah is a classically trained Master of Music with a background in Opera, who provides a incredible meditative experience that uses various instruments, like singing bowls and chimes, to create a sonic atmosphere that promotes an immense sense of well-being.
