This year, AkumuFest is not just a convention—it is a living, breathing village of shadows. Every booth, every corner, every smiling face may not be what it seems. Vendors, performers, even the guides who whisper directions to you… all have taken their roles as villagers in our haunted realm.
From dawn ‘til dusk (9 AM – 6 PM), you will stroll the cobbled streets of a cursed Japanese village—where cosplayers and yokai roam freely, where merchants barter in curious wares, and where mischief lurks behind every paper lantern. You may stumble upon wandering NPCs, tricksters who carry secrets… or perhaps quests. Complete their challenges and you may unlock hidden prizes—or awaken something better left sleeping.
At the stroke of noon, dare to enter the Haunted House: a chamber of screams where only the bravest last five minutes.
At nightfall, when the veil thins, join the Hyakki Yagyō—the Night Parade of 100 Demons—a procession of yokai, spirits, and finalists of the cosplay contest, leading you into the realm of AkumuFest After Dark (6:30 – 9 PM). There, laughter and terror entwine, as comedians, musicians, and performers dance upon the stage of shadows.
And for those who seek to go beyond spectator…
The Adventurers Guild awaits you. Form a party of four—or walk the path alone—and pledge yourself to quests and challenges scattered across the festival grounds. Earn rewards, unlock secrets, and carve your name into the legend of AkumuFest itself.
