Kim Wilson is a renowned American blues singer and harmonica player. He is best known as the lead vocalist and only constant member of the blues-rock band The Fabulous Thunderbirds, which he co-founded with guitarist Jimmie Vaughan in 1974 in Austin, Texas. Wilson's style is deeply rooted in traditional blues, heavily influenced by artists such as Muddy Waters and Little Walter. His powerful harmonica playing has been described as "loaded with the textures of a full-blown horn section".
