Summary

This workshop is primarily aimed at programmers (academics, professionals, or students) that have familiarity with AI/LLMs and a little bit of Python and/or Node.js.

We will focus on leveraging New Relic's AI Monitoring to build and run AI/LLM applications. You'll learn how to achieve comprehensive observability across your stack to maintain peak performance, ensure compliance, promote quality, and optimize costs.

Another aspect of this workshop will focus on leveraging OpenTelemetry and its current capabilities to gather similar telemetry from your LLM applications.

Instructor

Harry Kimpel is a passionate software craftsman with 27+ years experience in a broad spectrum of development technologies and platforms. Main focus on cloud-native software architectures and all major cloud environments. Passion for model-driven development, application modernization and Dapr. Observing and securing these environments are key aspects.

As a Developer Relations Engineer at New Relic, Harry helps software engineers, DevOps, SREs and operations experts to understand and implement proactive and scalable observability practices by leveraging open source technologies and the New Relic platform.

Attendee equipment prerequisites

Laptop with Internet access, a free New Relic account (https://newrelic.com/signup?mobile-demo=false).

The entire workshop runs in a browser, so nothing will be installed on attendee machines.
