Self defense doesn’t have to be scary. Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art focused on non-violent self-defense, blending movement, balance, and awareness to neutralize aggression without harm.
In Vasili’s class, he combines Aikido movements and principles with fitness elements to create a class you can use for your daily workout while building self defense skills. Vasili began practicing Karate at the age of 10 and continued for 10 years. In 1989, he started training in Aikido under Mr. Kobayashi, a respected instructor from Japan. Vasili has now been teaching Aikido for over 25 years.
