AI Speaker Series #1: Build Something Useful Using NLP, Now
Date and time
Description
AI Speaker Series: Every Wednesday in October 2019 6:30-8:30pm at PeopleSpace!
Description:
Natural Language Processing, commonly referred to as NLP, is unfortunately thought of as a deep, mysterious field which only those who have studied it for years understand. However, this isn't true. You can start using NLP today, by learning a small number of methods from a few open-source libraries.
In this talk, we use the community edition of JetBrains' PyCharm editor and the open-source libraries NLTK, SciKit Learn, and NumPy. We quickly build an app to sort articles into groups and tell us their common theme. So bring your laptop, dust off your python skills and get ready for a fast and informative talk.
