AI × Smallholder Farmers × Data Mixer
Overview
Join us on 4th December for an intimate, high-impact mixer bringing together leaders in agriculture, technology, research, finance, and development. The evening features a panel discussion on the future of AI and data in smallholder farming which will be followed by The soft launch of the Agricultural Information Infrastructure (AII), a farmer-centric data and AI platform built for Kenya.
ABOUT THIS EVENT
Smallholder farmers form the backbone of Kenya’s food system, yet they remain underserved by data and digital tools. While innovation in agriculture is growing, the sector still struggles with fragmented information, low digital adoption, and a lack of farmer-centric solutions.

The panel will explore:
- The biggest data gaps limiting productivity
- Representation of Smallholders in realm of data and if this important.

- The future of digital agriculture in East Africa.
The panel will lead directly into the soft launch of the Agricultural Information Infrastructure (AII) — a new platform designed to make agricultural data meaningful, ethical, and actionable for farmers and the organisations that serve them.
During the launch, we will share:
- Insights from our proof-of-concept with 50 farmers
