Do I need to have an AHA certification to become an instructor?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  You need to have your AHA provider certification to take the instructor courses.  It cannot be a certification from a different agency.

Where can I teach?

If you are aligned with our TS/TC, you will be able to teach anywhere in the US.  If you live outside the US, you can train to become an instructor with us, but you would then need to align with a center in your country.

Question 3

Are the instructor manuals/books/training videos included in the price?

Accepted Answer

Only the instructor manuals are included in the price.  You would need to purchase training materials and equipment on your own. You will not need to bring any equipment with you on training days, as we will supply everything.

Question 4

What online course is required to move on to DAY 1 & DAY 2 of training?

Accepted Answer

You need to complete the essential courses for the disciplines you want to become an instructor in.  We will send you links for these courses once you sign up.
