Drawn by the promise of accelerated delivery, higher product quality, happier customers, and a more engaged workforce, companies of all sizes across multiple industries are turning to Scrum and Kanban to manage their work efforts.

Join seasoned Agile coaches and trainers Tony Register and Kert Peterson in a two-part immersive Agile Foundations workshop hosted by UNCC’s Systems Engineering and Engineering Management program.

What you will learn
Through a mix of lecture, visual diagrams, hands-on exercises, and small-group dialogue this Part 2 workshop will reveal the deeper dynamics of team agility, organizational change, and industry applications. , Topics covered include:

  • coaching self-organizing teams
  • why, what, and how of scrum & kanban events
  • agile metrics (measuring progress & performance)
  • agile by example (industry trends & examples)
  • agile applications (beyond software development)
  • leading organizational change

We’ll learn about the dynamics of self-organization within agile teams, explore the key events that drive scrum and kanban, review agile metrics, and take a closer look at where and how agile is being pragmatically applied beyond the world of software development.
