Citizens For Disclosure & The New Paradigm Institute

Citizens for Disclosure (CFD) is the volunteer activist arm of the New Paradigm Institute (NPI): a nonpartisan non-profit organization focused on government transparency, scientific inquiry, and public education related to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP)/UFOs and potential Non-Human Intelligence (NHI). CFD has chapters across the country and nearly 3,000 members! To join a local chapter and stay in touch on future events and actions, register here!

NPI works with academic institutions, policymakers, and researchers to promote fact-based, responsible public dialogue on these emerging areas of national, academic, and scientific interest.

There has been a persistent stigma attached to simply acknowledging the reality of UFOs and UAP. Many of us are familiar with this struggle. Whether speaking with friends, family members, or colleagues, the topic can quickly become uncomfortable. For decades, cultural gatekeepers have pushed the idea that only fringe thinkers take UFOs seriously. This narrative was not an accident. It was shaped and reinforced through disinformation campaigns, which the New Paradigm Institute has extensively documented in our series on government disinformation.

The Age of Disclosure

As part of this effort, NPI is supporting the documentary Age of Disclosure, featured in the spring at SXSW Festival, and premiering in select theaters and Amazon Prime on November 21.

The film explores the growing body of government, scientific, and first-hand testimony surrounding UAP, as well as the national-security, scientific, and societal implications of increased transparency. Age of Disclosure is designed to inform the public, encourage critical inquiry, and provide a balanced foundation for academic discussion on topics that are often stigmatized and under-examined in mainstream settings.

More can be found on the film in this article by The Guardian, and the trailer can be viewed here.

"The film, directed by Dan Farah, features 34 military and intelligence veterans with direct knowledge of or experience with UAPs. All testify to the presence of alien flying objects and, for some, extraterrestrial beings on Earth. Some also allege a government cover-up of supposedly paradigm-shifting information – an effort that the film’s lead subject, Luis Elizondo, a member of the government’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), deemed “the most successful disinformation campaign in the history of the US government”, representing '80 years of lies and deception.'

"A bipartisan group of government officials, including the former senator for Florida and Trump’s new secretary of state, Marco Rubio; the Democratic New York senator Kirsten Gillibrand; and the Republican South Dakota senator Mike Rounds, also call for more transparency on the subject, citing their personal experience struggling to access any information on UAPs."

Recent interviews about the film with producer Dan Farah can be viewed on Fox News & CNN.

The Charlottesville Watch Party!!

The UFO/UAP topic has been clouded in stigma, disinformation, and misinformation for several decades. We view Age of Disclosure as a major step in helping the wider public understand the reality of this topic and start digging deeper.

As part of this effort, Virginia CFD will be screening the film Age of Disclosure at the Sanctuary at Unity of Charlottesville (2825 Hydraulic Circle, Charlottesville, VA)–no affiliation–on Wednesday, Dec. 3 from 6:00-9:00pm EST.

This topic extends far beyond the focus of the film, and touches on every element of reality and society–from spirituality and physics, to philosophy and psychology–encouraging broad-ranging and ongoing discourse.

Accordingly, we will host a Q&A (question & answer) session after the film to help contextualize the complex and shocking reality documented therein.
