Join an experienced guide, get outside and enjoy the natural wonders of St. Lucie County with the Environmental Resources Department's award-winning Guided Nature Program series. With over 11,000 acres of protected land in the county, there are plenty of opportunities to hit the trails. Whether it’s your first time joining the program, or your 100th time, there’s always something exciting to discover on St. Lucie County Preserves!
· Sunday, Oct 26 – Afternoon Unwind Stroll at Citrus Hammock Preserve (4:00pm-5:30pm) – Join an afternoon leisurely hike featuring wildflowers and wildlife. From pond habitat to riverine hammock, this hike will include saw palmetto, slash pine, magnificent oaks and signs of wildlife galore!

ERD Guided Nature Program hikes are FREE, reservations are required, and space is limited. GNP season now runs from September through June.
