Mayombe Masai, an iconic name in the world of samba, has emerged as one of the most influential samba no pe teachers, bringing a unique approach deeply rooted in Afro-Brazilian ancestry and history. With over two decades of experience and dedication, Mayombe transforms the art of dance into a journey of self-discovery and connection with cultural roots.

What you can expect:

- Historical knowledge: learn about the roots of samba and the richness of the orixas rhythms, exploring the connection between dance, culture, and spirituality.

- Refined Technique: Master the technique and musicality of samba. Perfecting your movements with expert guidance.

- Engaging practice: experience samba practice through an approach that integrates tradition with personal expression, creating a unique and transformative experience.

The teaching schedule is as follows:

- Wednesday August 6: - Two Classes: August 6: Afro Samba from 7:30 - 8:45pm; Malandro from 9 - 10:15pm.

- Thursday August 7: 8:15 - 9:45pm - Afro-Percussion Drums (Congoas, Agogo, Orixas/fusion)
