SOB’s is NYC's premier venue for African music & global sounds. Opened in 1982 with a mission to amplify the music of the Afro-Latino diaspora, SOB's is known as one of the first places to bring African music to the New York City stage - from early performers like Fela Kuti, Youssou N’Dour, Hugh Masekela, and Baaba Maal in the 80s, to later stars like Wizkid, Tems, Rema, Ruger, Adekunle Gold, and more.
