About the Summit
The African Leaders and Partners (ALP) Forum - Annual Summit represents a pivotal evolution in EBII Group’s commitment to fostering strong, sustainable economic partnerships between Africa and the global community. Building on the foundation of the Africa Investment Risk and Compliance Summit (AIRCS), the ALP Summit expands its scope to encompass strategic investment, risk mitigation, and long-term development.
Hosted by EBII Group in collaboration with George Washington University, this inaugural summit in Washington, DC, will convene a distinguished assembly of African heads of state, senior U.S. government officials, international policymakers, global investors, private sector leaders, multilateral institutions, and members of the African diaspora.
Timed strategically ahead of the United Nations General Assembly, the summit aims to influence global priorities and drive impactful trade and investment outcomes. Together, participants will address Africa’s most pressing challenges and opportunities in food security, energy transition, and economic resilience.
Summit Origins
The Summit builds upon the success of the AIRCS, which welcomed dignitaries including the Presidents of Ghana and Sierra Leone, the Prime Minister of St. Lucia, the Secretary-General of AfCFTA, members of the U.S. Congress, central bank governors, and private sector executives.
Its vision was further strengthened during the Africa Leaders and Partners Forum in April 2025, hosted by EBII Group in collaboration with the Embassy of Ghana and Black Professionals in International Affairs (BPIA). The forum drew over 200 influential stakeholders, laying the groundwork for deeper engagement on U.S.–Africa relations in a shifting global context.
