About Nathan Chappell

Nathan Chapell is a thought leader, public speaker, author, AI inventor, and a pioneer in AI for social good. Nathan recently published an award-winning book, The Generosity Crisis; The Case for Radical Connection to Solve Humanity’s Greatest Challenges. Nathan serves as SVP at DonorSearch AI where he leads AI initiatives for many of the largest nonprofits in the US. In 2019, he founded http://Fundraising.AI , an advocacy organization focused on the Responsible and Beneficial use of AI for the global fundraising community.

As a nonprofit leader, his fundraising experience spans more than two decades where he led large-scale nonprofit organizations and multi-billion-dollar fundraising campaigns.

As a sought-after public speaker, podcast guest and editorial contributor, Nathan is regularly featured in journals such as the Chronicle of Philanthropy, AFP Advance, AHP, DMAW, Citibank Global and Forbes among others. His podcast, Fundraising AI is one of the top nonprofit technology podcasts globally.

Nathan serves as an advisor for the OpenAI Users Forum, the AI for Good Foundation, the International Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS), and the Forbes Technology Council. He holds a Masters in Nonprofit Administration from University of Notre Dame, an MBA from University of Redlands, a certificate in International Economics from University of Cambridge, a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from MIT, a certificate in Philanthropic Psychology from the Institute of Sustainable Philanthropy and is a certified fundraising executive.
