A workshop designed to equip women of color with the tools & confidence to navigate the healthcare system and advocate for their well-being.

Join the Sisterhood on Thursday, December 4th for a community-centered learning space designed to equip Muslim women with the tools and confidence to navigate the healthcare system and advocate for their well-being.

The workshop will feature Valerie Shirley, a respected health equity advocate, Dr. Natya Stroud, a physician committed to addressing racial disparities in healthcare, and Munira Maalimisaq, FNP, DNP-c, a Family Nurse Practitioner and CEO of Inspire Change Clinic. All three speakers are women who bring lived experience, professional expertise, and a deep understanding of the systemic biases that often lead to delayed or missed diagnoses for women of color.
