Join us on a sunset hike through Juno Dunes South to explore a variety of diverse habitats and the native plants, wildflowers and animals that thrive in each one. This is a casual hike on a rarely explored trail through the most remote section of the natural area that offers interesting vistas across the dunes that show how Wild Florida use to look. Bring your camera to catch the sunset, colorful flowers and the birds coming in to roost while exploring the endangered coastal scrub ecosystem of Juno Dunes Natural Area.

Total walking distance will be approximately 2 miles and will involve walking on natural surfaces.

Please bring water and wearing comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting a little dirty are recommended.

We will be meeting at south parking lot of Bert Winters Park.

There are restroom facilities at Burt Winters Park, but not in the Natural Area.

Please no pets or unaccompanied minors.
