A Startup Maine Week Wrap Party celebrating entrepreneurs who feed our love of the oceans and the outdoors

The New England Ocean Cluster is thrilled to host the official Startup Maine Week Wrap Party at the Hús on the Portland waterfront in collaboration with Maine Outdoor Brands and the Startup Maine crew. We'll whip together entrepreneurship, outdoor recreation, and the ocean in a celebratory evening that features gear and product showcases, oysters, monkfish stew, and startup introductions.

Featured outdoor brands as of May 1 include Ashley Flowers Yoga, Blueprint Surf Co., FLYN, Grain Surfboards, Hüga, Marin Skincare, Paddle Pumps, Portland Paddle, Saltwater Classroom, Shred Electric, Solvitall, Survue AI, and The Boat Yard. There will be products to check out, founders and entrepreneurs to speak to, and good conversation with people who dedicate much of their lives to crafting outdoor experiences for us all.

This event is part of the ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE BLUE ECONOMY event series.

Entrepreneurship in the Blue Economy (EITBE) is an event series created by the New England Ocean Cluster to share the stories of ocean-focused entrepreneurs and project leaders in Maine. Each session is free to attend and includes a curated panel of speakers who share their own intimate and organic perspectives on the topic du jour. Created in 2019, the program’s intent is to convene an engaged audience to raise awareness, promote dialog, and facilitate connections amongst those interested in the region’s blue economy.
