Advent Reflection

The parish Advent retreat this year is happening at a very special point in time, at the latter end of this very special Jubilee year. The year is far from over so the retreat will be an opportunity to spend some precious and gentle time together as we pause to listen, and reflect, on whatever the Holy Spirit is moving in us:

For everyone, may the Jubilee be a moment of genuine,

personal encounter with the Lord Jesus, the “door” (cf. Jn 10:7.9)

of our salvation, whom the Church is charged to proclaim always,

everywhere and to all as “our hope” (1 Tim 1:1).
