Hosted by the Vagelos Institute and Penn Sustainability, take a behind-the-scenes tour of Penn’s energy systems and VLEST

As part of Energy Week at Penn, Join us for a guided tour all about Penn's energy systems and how Penn is leading in building energy design. The event is will start at Penn’s Facilities and Real Estate Services for an overview of Penn’s climate goals, progress to date, and how campus energy is sourced and managed. Then walk to the Vagelos Laboratory for Energy Science and Technology (VLEST) for an interactive tour led by University Architect Mark Kocent, Ryan Rose (Senior Director of Facilities Planning and Operations, SAS), and Nadine Gruhn (Managing Director, VIEST). Explore VLEST’s energy-efficient systems and sustainable features, including hands-on engagement with sunshades and lab spaces designed for energy efficiency.
