Meridian, IDThe Treasure Valley Family YMCA (Y) is has been chosen to host an advanced screening of “Jason Bourne”, the next chapter of Universal Pictures’ Bourne franchise, which finds the CIA’s most lethal former operative drawn out of the shadows. The event will be held on July 20th at Village Cinema in the Village at Meridian, nine days before the opening date of the action-thriller from director Paul Greengrass. Matt Damon, who returns to his most iconic role, and producer Frank Marshall will join the crowd with a red carpet entrance and personally introduce “Jason Bourne” in each theater. All proceeds from this event will help fund the Capital Campaign for the new South Meridian YMCA.

Ticket holders will be asked to arrive and check-in by no later than 5:00 p.m., as Damon and Marshall will make their entrance shortly after. Four theaters will be designated for the film screening that evening, and film start time is approximately 6:00 p.m.

A limited amount of VIP and General Admission tickets will go on sale to the general public on June 8th at 8:00 a.m. via the Treasure Valley Family YMCA website: www.ymcatvidaho.org

TICKET DETAILS:

General Admission ($45.00): Ticket will include a seat in one of four theaters, as well as the opportunity to see Damon and Marshall enter the Village Cinema facility and make their in-theater film introductions. Guests will be asked to arrive early to ensure enough time for ticket holders to check-in, purchase movie concessions, and be led to their designated theater by ushers.

VIP ($200): Ticket will include VIP seat in one of the four theaters, as well as the opportunity to see Damon and Marshall enter the Village Cinema facility and make their in-theater film introductions. VIP ticket holders will also have admission into the Red Carpet Reception following the film screening, which will be attended by Damon and Marshall. This event will include a brief Q&A and complimentary food and beverage. The reception will run for approximately one hour from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. IMPORTANT NOTE: VIP ticket holders must be 21 years of age or older to attend screening as a VIP.

The proceeds from this event will directly support our next exciting project, a full-sized YMCA facility in South Meridian.”

About the South Meridian Family YMCA & Partnerships

The South Meridian Family YMCA will be a family health and wellness and recreation facility located near Eagle and Amity Roads in Meridian, Idaho. The facility will provide a place and programs that foster individual and community growth, development, and wellness for children, adults, and families. The facility will be part of a larger partnership aimed at addressing the education, literacy, recreation, health, and wellness needs of the entire region. The project vision includes facilities and programs owned and operated by the YMCA, the City of Meridian, West Ada School District, a health partner, and the Meridian Library District. Hillsdale Elementary School is under construction and is slated to open in August 2016. Depending on fundraising goals being met, construction of the Y, health partner facility, and park could begin in the Fall of 2016.
