Prerequisite: Playwrights must have written at least a short play, know the fundamentals of drama and play formatting. Playwrights are expected to have an idea of the play or screenplay they are going to write. Playwrights will be encouraged to write a play about a historical event important to Mexican-American history or a play celebrating their Abuelita/Grandmother.
