Advanced Improv Workshop: The Peacemaker "Improvising Fast and Slow"

Come join us at the Annoyance Theatre for an exciting improv workshop! In this session, we'll explore the technique of improvising at different speeds - from quick, snappy premise-based commentary scenes to slow, thoughtful organic scenes. Using the "Drift" method, your scenes will glide from moment to moment and from scene to scene.

Led by Colin Thornton, an instructor with 25 years of experience, you'll learn how to adapt your improv skills to match the pace of any scene. Stuck between the worlds of iO, Annoyance, and UCB? Don't want to pick a style? Ask yourself -- why not both?

About The Instructor:
Colin Thornton is the Artistic and Education Director at Improv Cincinnati. He's a graduate of iO and Annoyance Theatre, and spent several years directing and performing in Chicago before moving to Ohio. Colin founded the Improv Leadership Summit, an international conference for leaders of improv theaters. He created and hosted the Improv Touchstones podcast and wrote "Overcoming Fear: a Guide for Budding Improvisers". Weird fact: Colin's first improv workshop (ever) was with Keegan Michael Key at his alma mater Western Kentucky University.
