Get Ready for the Advanced HazMat Technologies Workshop!

This one-day intensive workshop provides a deep dive into the detection and identification of chemical, biological, and radiological threats using the “Trinity” of field-deployable analytical technologies: Standoff Raman Spectroscopy, Flame Photometry, and High-Resolution Radioisotope Detection/Identification.

Participants will move beyond simple "red light/green light" operation to understand the science, strengths, and limitations of each technology. The course focuses specifically on the detection and identification of Chemical Warfare Agents, Pharmaceutical-Based Agents, Toxic Industrial Chemicals/Materials (TICs/TIMs) and Radioactive Materials.
