This course is designed to provide concealed carriers an opportunity to apply their concealed carry skills to realistic shooting scenarios. This course is certain to help a student not only develop their confidence and skillset when carrying concealed, but also provides training designed to increase awareness and better prepare themselves to defend their actions in a courtroom if needed.
This course will provide drills/training focused on real life application. Drills will consist of live fire and "blue gun" training scenarios. Students will conduct drills that will consist of some hands on physical training geared towards enhancing distance and weapon retention. Training includes topics such as reactionary shooting; increasing speed; seated positions; working around obstacles; reactionary gap awareness; surviving the gun fight and more. Students will also receive a STOP THE BLEED refresher to include self care techniques and a 45 minute Legal Use of Force presentation.
WHAT TO BRING: IWB/OWB Holster; Minimum of 3 magazines; Magazine pouch; 350 rounds of factory ammunition; Eye & Ear protection; Firearm
Optional recommended but not required gear: concealed magazine carrier pouch; kneepads; hat w/ brim; appropriate caliber dummy rounds, knee pads and "blue gun" that fits in your holster. We will have plenty of "blue guns" available on site
This course is designed around concealed carry, recommended to wear "every day" clothing that is similar to what you would be wearing in a "real life situation".
To attend this course, students must have attended previous concealed carry training and show evidence of their experience if attended outside of 1:9 Tactical. If no previous training, contact us to discuss your experience before signing up. We want to make sure this is the right course for you.
