Advanced Clinical Training: Developing Skills and Strategies

The My Life My Choice Advanced Clinical Training is designed for mental health professionals, program based clinicians, DCF workers, community-based therapists, in home therapy teams and private practice clinicians that are serving you who have been commercially sexually exploited.

**Prior attendance at a MLMC Understanding and Responding to Victims of CSEC training and/or a comparable CSEC 101 training in your community**

Goals for participants in the Advanced Clinical Training:

• Learn how to develop trauma informed clinical programming for exploited youth
• Practical application of knowledge gained through prior attendance at Understanding and Responding to Victims of CSEC training
• Learn strategies to having conversations with youth who have been sexually exploited
• Practice utilizing skills learned through role play, group discussion and small group work

Prerequisite: Participants are required to attend an Understanding and Responding to Victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation training (CSEC Training) within the past two years.
