Advanced Class - Pelican IFM Controller (Touchscreen Units)
Overview

This three day class is designed to help the Technician diagnose issues on Elgin Pelican sweepers with IFM systems (Touchscreen) using the on-board diagnostics and electrical schematics. Time will be spent in the classroom and lab. Hands-on modules will give your technicians experience that will help them solve problems back at their shops. Your technician will receive in-depth training in schematics and the on-board diagnostics.
Each technician must bring a laptop with power source. Class starts on Tuesday with checking the technician’s computers and ensuring everyone knows how to connect laptop to the sweeper wired /wireless.

Who should attend: Technicians wanting to learn about the new control system in Touchscreen Pelicans and how it can make diagnosing faster.
Technicians are required to always follow safety rules inside the facility. Closed toe shoes are required for attendance and steel toe boots are required for the hands-on portion. Safety glasses, vests, and hearing protection will be provided during visit.
Recommended Prerequisites:
We recommend that Technicians complete the standard Pelican Sweepers for Mechanics class within the last 3 years before attending.
