Advance Fundraising Screening of 'The Dreamer Cinderella'

LATINAFest, the largest cultural outdoor festival in the U.S. focused on Latinas, has partnered with Dr. Ruiz Productions to present an advance fundraising screening of their feature film The Dreamer Cinderella.  This fundraising screening comes ahead of the film's national theatrical release on January 23, 2026 .

The screening will benefit Proyecto Pastoral and the  Survivor Justice Center, two non-profit organizations who offer services to the immigrant community. 

The Dreamer Cinderella is a story which blends the emotional resonance of Under the Same Moon (2008) with the transformational charm of She’s All That (1991). At its center is Xochitl, a Mexican-American fruit street vendor whose life takes an unexpected turn when a powerful film director makes her the subject of a daring bet with his career rival.
