Advance Directives and Estate Planning Basics
Now that you’ve found your essential documents and know how to securely store them for easy access in the event of an emergency, it’s time to look more closely at those documents. In this session, Margie will discuss healthcare proxies, living wills, powers of attorney and the basics of an estate plan, demystifying both “advance directives” and “estate plans,” helping you understand what they need to include and why. This information will not only help you sleep better at night, but it will give you tools to help family members including both your aging parents and your young adult children.
