Adult Workshop: Modern Painting

Join us to experiment and create an abstract painting inspired by artworks in the exhibition American Modernism from the Charles Butt Collection. Enjoy a tour of the exhibition before we dive into artmaking with Carter Community Artist Lingchia Tsai. We'll use shapes and colors to craft modernist designs to express emotions like passion, playfulness, or serenity. No previous experience necessary and all materials provided.

$10 per person supply fee, free for Carter members. Seating is limited; advance registration is recommended. Registration opens September 1.
