This FREE Mental Health First Aid course, funded by the North Texas Behavioral Health Authority through state and federal grants, is a skills-based training course that teaches participants about mental health and substance-use challenges, as well as how to help someone experiencing a mental health crisis.

The 8-hour in-person course will be conducted at Grand Pairie YMCA, 4556 S. Carrier Pkwy, 75052.

To become certified, you must attend the full course, participate and complete the post course work.
