Adult & Teen Learn-to-Ride Workshop

By Bike East Bay Education Program

Overview

For adults and teens who have not yet learned to ride a bike or would like a refresher.

This three-hour workshop is for adults and teens who have not yet learned to ride a bike or would like a refresher on the basics of balancing, pedaling, and steering.

Our trained instructors are friendly, patient, and will help you get off to a great start in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

You’ll need a working bike to participate. We have a limited number of bikes available to rent— but we ask that you please only reserve a rental if you don’t already have access to a bike.

This workshop has a very low student-to-teacher ratio. If the class is full, you can be added to the waitlist or sign up to be notified when new workshops are added.

Teens are welcome to participate with a parent or guardian present for the duration of the class.

This workshop is funded by the City of Hayward’s Active Transportation Education and Promotion Program, which is supported by the “California Climate Investments” program.
