Interested in getting your boots off the ground and into the saddle? Want to have a true western riding experience?

Join us for our Adult Summer camp and get the feeling of riding a horse. Riders can expect to learn the basics of horsemanship, riding and controlling a horse, and the rules of being safe around horses. All while enjoying a social outing that connects you to like-minded outdoor enthusiast.

Take a short ride out to Upper Marlboro, Maryland for a getaway adventure nearby.

Daily classes are evenings Monday-Friday from 6-8pm, which allows for 2 -1 hour sessions with 6 riders per session. Afterwards, enjoy wine and light refreshments in a relaxing atmosphere.

Riders are required to pay in full and complete a waiver before camp begins. Weekend riding sessions, both group and private lessons, are available. Additional fees will be added.

Frequently asked questions

What attire should I wear?

A smile, jeans, short sleeve shirts and shoes with a heel are preferred. Cowboy hats and western boots optional (smile). Shoes like timberland boots or hiking boots work well.

Are helmets required?

Yes, bring your own personal helmet if you have one. Loaner helmets are provided and must be used while riding any horse.

Are waivers required?

Waivers are required to be signed by all riders and anyone that enters the property.

What if it's raining the day of the class?

This is an outdoor open arena type venue and a nearby covered arena available depending on the arena owner's schedule and the class participation. Otherwise, the class will be rescheduled, or you may request a refund.

Is there a weight restriction?

Yes, we top out at 240lbs max

Is experience necessary

No experience is necessary; this is an introductory to horseback riding class.

Are spectators allowed, is there a fee for spectator's

Spectators are allowed at no cost. There is a $25 fee if you participate in the refreshments.

How many sessions each day? What is the group size?

There are 2 sessions each day. Group sizes are 6 persons in each group. 1st group starts at 6pm sharp, ends at 7pm. 2nd group starts at 7pm ends at 8pm.

Are other riding times available?

Yes, weekend classes are available by appointment. Private lessons are 1 hour at $100.00 per person. We encourage groups of 5-6 persons per session, the fee for group sessions is $75 per person for 1 hour. We can provide food and beverages for your group at an additional fee.

Are other horseback riding services available?

Yes, we are a full-service horseback operation. We provide our services year-round. Our facility and horses are available for rent for your next group outing or event. Food and beverages can be arranged.

Are there programs for kids?

We offer summer camp, daily/evening and weekend riding lessons for kids.

What will you learn?

You will learn the basics of riding a horse that includes horsemanship, balance and controlling the horse and how to be safe while being around horses.

Are there other methods of payment? When is payment due?

You can pay through Cash app, Paypal and Venmo. All payments must be paid are before you arrive.
