Adult Beginning- Intermediate Painting / Day or Evening / 6 Sessions

Up your confidence and painting skills in this fun, informative 6-session class. Learn Color Theory, brushwork techniques, direct, and indirect painting methods in an upbeat, fun, creative environment. You will learn both realistic and abstract techniques in painting to create interesting artwork. Your choice of learning Oil painting or Acrylic painting. Demos are given in both oil paint and acrylic. Each session is 2.5 hours.

Leslie’s Teaching Creds include teaching Painting: Oil, Acrylic, and Encaustic Classes at U.T. Austin, and for The Austin Museum of Art’s Art School at Laguna Gloria. She founded and hosted Austin Full Monty Painting and Drawing Sessions for the Austin Visual Arts Association for 4 years prior to moving to San Diego.
Leslie has been teaching Adult Painting and Encaustic Art Workshops in her studio gallery located in Liberty Station since 2020.
