She actively worked to support her husband's ideals, including his efforts to abolish slavery, and faced imprisonment and hardship with remarkable courage.
Join us in celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Marquis de Lafayette's visit to Maryland during his "Farewell Tour" of the United States in1824-1825.
