Adoptee Workshop: Somatic Breathwork and EFT Tapping


Join us for a powerful online workshop specifically designed for adoptees seeking deeper healing, emotional release, and self-connection. This unique event combines the transformative power of Somatic Breathwork™ with the accessible grounding technique of EFT Tapping to help you gently shed layers of stress and trauma and step into your authentic self. Give yourself the gift of an embodied experience and create space for profound integration and personal growth.


Somatic Breathwork™ Experience (All Levels Welcome)


The Somatic Breathwork™ portion is a full embodiment experience designed to help you release stress, trauma, emotions, and pent-up energy from the body using your own circular, diaphragmatic breath. Coupled with immersive music, this modality taps into your body's inner intelligence, potentially resulting in cathartic emotional releases such as laughing, moving, crying, yelling, or shaking—all forms of expression are encouraged to move stuck energy. The session transitions to a gentler breathing technique in the second half to help you connect with your true self, call in desired changes, and gain clarity on living your best life. No prior experience is necessary; this practice is safe and effective for all levels. Please note that a waiver is required for participation, and there are contraindications (listed in the full event details) to review if you have certain health conditions. The session runs approximately 60 minutes, including an intake/overview, 30 minutes of active breathwork, and a time for integration and sharing, plus an optional 15-minute follow-up call.


EFT Tapping: Grounding & Regulation


The workshop will also include a brief introduction and practice of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Tapping. You can expect to learn and engage in this easy-to-use technique that involves gently tapping on specific meridian points on the face and body while focusing on a particular emotion or feeling. This process is highly effective for reducing stress, promoting emotional regulation, and helping to quickly calm the nervous system. It provides a practical, take-home tool for immediate grounding and shifting emotional states.


Preparation for the Workshop


Please allow yourself a dedicated space and time for this experience. You will need: water, high-quality headphones (optional), a journal, a small blanket, and a sacred space with your yoga mat or in bed where you won't be disturbed. Ensure you have room to move. For best results, avoid eating 1-2 hours before the session, wear comfortable, breathable clothing, and create space in your day afterward for deeper integration.
