On Monday, November 16th from 3pm-4pm, AIA Brooklyn will host a webinar with C. Jaye Berger, Esq to discuss access and license agreements for work that happens adjacent to your house or your client’s project. Attendees will receive 1 CEU and will be introduced to the following:

1. Projects where it turns out that a neighboring property owner or developer needs to have access to the property you are working on.

2. Key topics in an access/ license agreement. Does an attorney need to be involved?

3. What happens if there is no license agreement?

4. The relationship between the client‘s architect and the developer.

C. Jaye Berger, Esq., is an attorney with many years of experience in co-op/condo law, real estate and construction law, and litigation. She is also well-known for her many articles in these areas and is a much sought-after speaker.

She handles a wide variety of legal issues for her co-op and condo clients, including reviewing and drafting construction and renovation contracts and access agreements, alteration agreements and leases, handling construction and other types of issues and disputes, resolving mechanic’s liens and litigation. She has participated in a number of presentations for AIA Brooklyn, most recently at the Small and New Business lecture series in the Fall of 2018.
