About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

You are invited to honor the Earth, open to Mystery, and strengthen your connection to Nature during a New Moon circle. We gather monthly when the moon is dark to soothe our psyches, develop our intuition, and support each other’s spiritual growth as interconnected beings in the web of life. Rituals are inspired by earth-based spiritual traditions and nature itself.

Bring tarot or oracle cards, or your favorite divination tool, your journal, anything you would like to charge on our altar, and a blanket or cushion to sit on. There is no charge for this community event.

Weather permitting, we may gather outside. Otherwise, we meet inside the shop. Our new moon circles will typically follow this format: introductions, intentions, and altar creation; centering; connecting with local wild beings; invoking the elements and the spirit of the Earth; new moon meditation; divination; circle sharing; moon water offering; closing affirmation. Participants are welcome to stay after the circle is closed for informal social time.

Frequently asked questions

What should I bring to a circle?

Unless something is suggested in the event description, you will need nothing but yourself. Your journal and a favorite tarot or oracle deck is recommended. You are also welcome to bring items from nature to add to our altar, as well as crystals or other sacred items to charge.

Is the circle indoors or out?

Circles will be held inside the Solstice shop unless we are blessed with good weather for gathering outdoors.

Will I have to sit on the floor?

We typically sit on the floor for circle, however there are a few chairs if needed. We have some backjacks and yoga blankets available to sit on and you are also welcome to bring your own cushion or blanket for that purpose.
