About this event
Would you like to meet other Mums identifying as having ADHD and looking for understanding ears? Come along, unmask and find community with us. No formal diagnosis required.
Sessions are informal and friendly. We meet, talk, share refreshments and helpful resources and experiences with the group. A follow up email detailing any shared resources is sent around after each session as well. There is room for you to help us grow this community into whatever you feel you would most benefit from, as it is an ADHD Mum Group for ADHD Mums and by ADHD Mums. If this sounds like your kind of thing then please come along or get in touch if you have any questions or would like any assurances beforehand. We hope you will feel welcome even before you've stepped through the door.
We suggest a donation of £10 per session to support and develop the community. £5 covers running costs, though honestly anything you can manage is gratefully received. Please help us continue to reach out and bring together the Mum heroes getting by with the struggles and superpowers of ADHD! Please get in touch if you would like to attend sessions but would find donation a difficulty, we have a place and space for all who identify as an ADHD Mum.
Frequently asked questions
Not at all. We accept any Mums who suspect ADHD is part of their make up, as diagnosis can be a long and winding road and we do not expect everyone who attends to have made that journey. And, if you are making it, we would love to walk alongside you while you walk that path.
Not at all, the group is a social drop-in group. We do request you book ahead so we have an idea of numbers attending.
We come together informally to talk about personal journeys, the trials, triumphs & trip hazards of being a Mum with ADHD. We may follow a loose theme. In the future we hope to incorporate guest speaker slots. At present we are focussing on creating a welcoming space for you. Refreshments provided.
At the moment this session is for adults, though we welcome babes in arms to make it as accessible for new Mums as possible. Family friendly socials to include and involve older children of ADHD Mums will take place in 2025!
We are Mums with ADHD setting up a group for other Mums with ADHD. We do not wish to discriminate against NT non-Mums, though we wanted a space for a group identifying as ADHD Mums wanting to connect. This is the space we are creating.
There is free parking in the outside area of the Sainsbury's car park nearby for up to three hours.
