We are located under the pavillion next to the Java & Hopps Cafe, you'll see us with lots of yellow tables all lined up. You will also be able to see some blue yard signs around the area and at the entrance to the park

Join us for Chess in the Park — a free, drop-in chess event hosted by Sixty Four Squares every Sunday at Addison Circle Park!

Whether you’ve never played before or it’s been years since your last game, this event is all about having fun, meeting people, and enjoying chess in a low-pressure, open-air setting. We’ll have boards and pieces ready — just bring your curiosity.

We'll start off the event with some introductions followed by an optional 45-minute beginner class for anyone curious to learn. After that, everyone comes together for a full social chess experience with good vibes, no judgement, and no pressure.
