Event description
browngrotta arts invites you to their Spring 2021 Art in the Barn exhibition: Adaptation: Artists Respond to Change.

About this event

Adaptation: Artists Respond to Change presented by browngrotta arts

The artists who work with browngrotta arts have coped with the changes Covid has wrought in various ways — moving locations, taking up art photography, taking new inspiration from nature. These recent adaptations are just some of the many reasons artists make changes in their art practice — a material becomes unavailable or a new one suggests itself, they move in the US from the East to the South or from one country to another or from the city to the desert, they experience a change in physical abilities, an altered personal relationship, or are given a commission opportunity or an exhibition challenge.

More than three dozen artists will explore this theme, in browngrotta arts’ Spring 2021 Art in the Barn exhibition, Adaptation: Artists Respond to Change. The exhibition will run from May 8 - 16, 2021. Adaptation will be documented in a full-color catalog (our 51st).
