Overview

Learn more legal obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act and remove access barriers in programs, services, and activities.

Public entities are required to ensure all services, programs, and activities are readily accessible to and usable for people with disabilities. As part of Madison’s revitalization of the ADA Transition Plan, this training is offered to support agencies to learn more about their legal obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act and to remove access barriers in their programs, services, and activities.

Attendees will learn about the requirements for program access, the reasonable accommodation process, effective communication obligations, and how to better serve residents with disabilities.
