Overview

Learn how to protect yourself and others during an active shooter situation at our hands-on workshop!

Active Shooter Response Essentials: Based on "The First 30 Seconds" of Ed Monk.

Be Ready Before the Worst Happens.

This intensive Active Shooter Response Training is designed for responsible armed citizens and professional protectors who want more than theory—you want proven strategies and practical skills to stop a deadly threat and protect innocent lives.

In this one-day course, you’ll spend 4 hours in the classroom and 4 hours on the live-fire range, learning how active shooter attacks unfold, how armed responders can make a difference, and how to apply your existing shooting skills in a real fight—not just on a square range.

What You’ll Learn

Classroom Session (4 Hours – includes working lunch):

  • How modern active shooter attacks are planned and carried out
  • Trends, timelines, and lessons learned from real-world incidents
  • Differences in attacks at schools, churches, businesses, and public spaces
  • Options and recommendations for organizational and individual responses
  • Legal, moral, and policy considerations for armed responders
  • Gear, tactics, training, and mindset required to win the fight

Range Session (4 Hours – Live Fire):
This is not a basic “how to shoot” class. We focus on:

  • Applying your current shooting skills under stress
  • Rapid, accurate hits at realistic distances
  • Movement, use of cover, and problem-solving with a gun in your hand
  • Decision-making: When NOT to shoot and when you must
