Act 13 & Recreation: Leveraging Impact Fees for Park Projects

About this Event
Local and county government officials and community members are invited to a free seminar and bus tour focusing on parks projects funded in part with natural gas Act 13 and royalty revenues .
The seminar will be held in the ballroom of W&J's Rossin Campus Center beginning at 10 a. m. and will feature presentations by Corey Young, director of the Center for Energy Policy & Management, Lisa Cessna, executive director of the Washington County Planning Commission and Jodi Noble, manager of Chartiers Township . Adam Mattis of the state Department of Conservation & Natural Resources will also present on state grants available to municipalities for parks projects and leveraging gas revenue for these projects.
After a complimentary lunch, attendees are invited to take a bus tour of Mingo Creek County Park to view projects that have been funded by natural gas revenues.
