<p>Great teachers understand that bringing the best academic performance out of each student means creating rigorous lessons and using effective instructional strategies to engage students in their learning. Join Shavawn Davis-Milford, Assistant Principal and Lead Math Teacher at Meeting Street Academy Charleston, in this virtual workshop as she shares how to accelerate math instruction for students by: designing rigorous lessons; approaching teaching math as a coherent body of knowledge, not just a set of skills; and leveraging instructional strategies that work. This event is open to current full-time classroom  teachers.</p>
