Acquire practical industry experience through this free, expert-led training designed to enhance your technical skills.

Registration is limited to 10 participants and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Course Schedule:

Day 1: Begin with a lecture on the principles of mining laboratory tests, followed by a guided laboratory tour and an introductory session on subsampling techniques.

Day 2: Engage in a hands-on laboratory workshop focused on Methylene Blue Index testing.

Day 3: Conduct tailings dewatering experiments using flocculation and measure yield stress in the lab.

Day 4: Perform water chemistry analysis utilizing ion chromatography (IC) in a laboratory setting.

Registration Requirements:

In order to register for the camp, you must:

· be a second-year student

· have a WHMIS certificate

· complete H2S awareness training prior to camp
