ACADIA 2025 brings together leading architects, designers, researchers, and technologists for a dynamic, in-person conference centered on the theme "Computing for Resilience: Expanding Community Knowledge & Impact." Set in the climate-vulnerable yet innovation-driven city of Miami, this year’s conference explores how computational tools and design practices can help shape adaptive, inclusive, and resilient built environments.
From climate adaptation and AI-driven design to robotics, fabrication, and socio-political resilience, ACADIA 2025 investigates how architectural computation can respond to the urgent challenges facing cities today and reimagine what’s possible for the future.

ACADIA 2025 is jointly hosted by the School of Architecture at Florida International University (FIU) and the School of Architecture at the University of Miami (UM). All conference programming will take place on the FIU campus. Conference schedule and location specifics forthcoming.
